Reporting to Parents

Frankton School formally reports to Parents/whaanau three times each year.

Meet the Teacher Term 1. Parents are given a time to meet their child’s teacher/teachers early in Term 1.  All parents will be timetabled for 10min partnership meetings where more specific information about the class, e.g. homework routines, will be discussed.  This is where last year’s report is discussed and home school partnerships confirmed.  Parents will receive a list of questions which will build a profile of your child/students.  Responses give information about your child for the class teacher.

Student Led Conferences  will occur for all students in Term 2 & Term 4 where your child’s achievement and goals for learning are shared, by your child, relating to Frankton School expectations.

Yr 0—3 Students:   Students in their first three years of schooling will receive an achievement summary every six months from their start date at school until they are 8 years old.

Yr 4—6 Students:   Written reports in Term 2 and at the end of Term 4 show achievement relating to Frankton School expectations and the Curriculum Standards
